Happy Monday my friends! A new and energetic week ahead everyone. We’re past 9 weeks of 2023 so far and I want to share about one of my biggest goals this year.
Running is one of my biggest goals in 2023
I started 2023 in a way that was terrible and forgettable. In January and February, I lose all money I saved from 2022. The reason is I shorted BTC from 17k and holds to 25k then my short position is liquidated. It's really two months nightmare for me. I always feel worried, check the chart 1-2 times per hour… I was disappointed in myself and sicked. That moment when I realized I can’t continue like now, I think I need to change, and know what I should prioritize and focus on.
I lost all my money because shorted BTC
Thinking about this issue, I decided to put a goal for 2023 Run 3000km and finish a Full Marathon sub 3:30. Why do I think running can handle all issues I met?
  • Build a strong and positive habit: time for bad habits will be replaced by running time. I will be early to bed, early rise for running exercise, and get enough sleep.
  • Improve my health: when I can sleep enough and do exercise day by day, I can be healthy, focused, and more tasks will be done. Health always is 1st priority in my life.
  • Practice mindfulness: I feel concentration like meditation when I ran. Steps after steps, breath after breath. I focus on breathing, my body is present, and my mind is too. Only mindfulness can help me be enough sane to handle everything, at least brave enough to cut my loss when I was wrong.
It’s the whole answer for why I prioritize running in 2023 goals, and 3000km or new PR Full Marathon sub 3:30 is just simply a number. I’ll enjoy this journey instead result only. Anyway, I ran over 2200km last year so 3000km this year really is an interesting challenge also.

To pass this challenge, I need more effort and must be strict with myself. I believe that will have something cool to tell you through the kilometers I am going to run. Keep following me here and my Strava:
